Bio
Hey, my name's Blake and I've been playing guitar for over 5 years now. I recently started writing music in the summer of 2006 after the passing of a friend. After that happened, songs started pouring out and continue to do so. I write all my songs for God. He is my driving force and I'd be absolutely nothing without Him. Only a few more songs and I'll be on my way to professionally recording a cd and doing more shows. Enjoy! =)

(keep in mind, all my songs were recorded using a simple microphone on my computer using a free program called Audacity.. until the makings of a professional CD, this is the true and raw me.) God Bless!

'It's you' sounds good, but would be a brain buster if you doubled the guitar and panned it across the stereo channels - It would give the effect of breathing. Especially directly after the fingerpicking where the guitar kicks into the reprisal.

I would agree with you. I have had the inspiration for songs in the weirdest situations. on average though, I start with a chorus or lyrics and sing it till I have a good idea to where it will go. Then I jump on the piano and punch something out, after that it goes where ever my imagination and instruments take me. good talking to you Micah
